Step inside The Zoo, a curated collection of animal specimens and natural curiosities sourced for realism and detail. From preserved mammals and reptiles to insects, birds, and smaller creatures, each piece offers an authentic representation of the natural world. Designed to support film, television, theatre, and creative installations, this range prioritises accuracy, texture, and presence over novelty.

Descend into Dungeon Relics, a collection rooted in the darker edges of history and imagination. Featuring skulls, bones, restraints, ritual objects, and the remnants of confinement and punishment, these props are designed to suggest age, use, and narrative weight. Bloodied, worn, and imperfect by intention, each item exists to support storytelling where atmosphere, realism, and unease matter more than exaggeration.

The Drinks Menu is a curated hire collection of ready-to-use glass bottles designed specifically for screen use. The range includes wine bottles, beer bottles, cider bottles and a selection of spirit bottles, all supplied with clean, cleared, non-branded labels that look convincing on camera while avoiding real-world branding issues. Every item is prepared with continuity, realism and practicality in mind, making them ideal for film, television, commercials and content shoots.
All bottles are supplied empty, with labels professionally applied and additional spare labels included. Beer bottles are also supplied with spare caps, allowing productions to refill bottles with water or other stand-ins and repeat takes without interruption.

This approach keeps costs down, simplifies resets, and gives full control on set. Once hired, the weekly extension rate increases only marginally, allowing productions to keep bottles for longer shoots without pressure or escalating costs.
And for the community
The Vault
The Vault is a shared resource built around reuse, generosity, and keeping valuable materials in circulation. It’s a space where individuals and productions can donate items they no longer need — props, materials, and useful odds and ends that might otherwise be thrown away.
Everything stored in The Vault is available for others to use free of charge, giving discarded items a second life and helping creatives reduce waste, costs, and unnecessary re-purchasing.
Rather than a dumping ground, The Vault is curated, organised, and treated with the same care as the rest of our collection.
By contributing to or drawing from The Vault, you’re taking part in a more sustainable way of working — one that values reuse, shared resources, and the idea that yesterday’s leftovers can become tomorrow’s solutions.
Items currently available in The Vault will be shared weekly across our social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and our dedicated subreddit, making it easy to see what’s available and stay up to date with newly added donations.
About us
Instaprophire has been built by people who have spent many years working across the UK film and television industry, covering a wide range of roles within the art department and props.
That experience now centres primarily around Action props standby, working closely with actors, directors, and the wider crew to ensure props are reliable, appropriate, and performing exactly as required on camera.
Working at this level means understanding the pressures of production, the importance of detail, and the realities faced by crews every day. It’s not just about how something looks, but how it behaves, how reliable it is, and how it helps keep directors confident and productions moving.
The UK industry is creative, skilled, and ambitious — but it is also volatile. Careers can be unpredictable, opportunities uneven, and resources stretched. This business exists not only to supply props and materials, but to support the people who make the industry what it is. As it grows, the aim is to create opportunities, share resources, and help look after those working within film and television.
At its core, this is about raising standards — helping individuals achieve their own version of greatness while collectively elevating the quality, professionalism, and sustainability of the UK industry. By investing in people, craftsmanship, and shared responsibility, the goal is to help ensure the UK remains a world leader in film and television production.
